EUMETSAT has established a reputation globally for the organisation’s elite operations and data quality. Prior to connecting with OSC in 2012, however, the EUMETSAT brand looked tremendously outdated and unrefined and sorely needed to be reviewed and repositioned.
OSC consulted with EUMETSAT to understand how the organisation is perceived internally and externally and developed a new brand matrix system and positioning strategy that would achieve clarity for employees while supporting the ever-changing nature of their business. This matrix instigated a robust creative strategy that would position a strong, consistent, international look and feel for all their communication materials.
The first step was to refresh the EUMETSAT logo, followed by clear and informative identity guidelines to support the new EUMETSAT brand. This new identity appeared across all channels, from the organisation’s satellite launchers to corporate brochures, a new website and more to ensure overall brand consistency.
The new brand guidelines have also been successfully used and interpreted by external suppliers for services such as local and global events and exhibitions.
OSC continues to support EUMETSAT in developing an internal brand culture through ongoing collaboration with each department.
